Our team offers an array of inspection and testing services including, but not limited to the following:

Concrete testing, non-destructive testing, and destructive evaluations

Fresh and hardened concrete testing (slump, compressive strength, air entrainment, temperature, etc.); non-destructive testing of existing concrete via rebound (Schmidt) hammer, ultrasonic pulse echo, penetrant testing, or other NDT methods; and destructive evaluations via Windsor Probe (ASTM C-803) and coring.

Concrete testing, non-destructive testing, and destructive evaluations

Site soil compaction testing (proctor, density, in situ tests via the nuclear method, ASTM D-6938), and subgrade inspection and validation prior to paving or structural slab placement.

Reinforcement & masonry inspections

Rebar placement review and tie/lap length verification; mortar and grout mix testing; and masonry unit inspections including grout flow and grout consolidation.

Structural steel, bolting & welding inspection

Shop and field visual weld inspection; high-strength bolting (preload verification, torque/tensioning checks); structural steel frame erection review; and NDT Testing & CWI (available upon request).

Retaining walls, slope & substructure inspections
  • Wall reinforcement, drainage verification, embedment, and anchoring; inspection of earth retaining structures, soil anchors, and foundation supports.
Fireproofing, firestopping & protective systems inspection

Thermal protection inspections on steel/structural elements including spray-applied and intumescent coatings; and firestop materials, joint penetration, and through-assembly penetration review.

Paving, subbase, and sitework inspections

Stone subgrade, base course, and paving compaction (ASTM D-2950) and thickness validation; stormwater infrastructure observation including confirmatory infiltration testing and trench backfill compaction.

We have ICC- and ACI-certified accreditations
